About Owner Debra Ward:

Owner and founder of DreamWeaver Marketing & Events, Debra Ward is no stranger to success both as a Business Owner and a Marketing Consultant. She has a diverse background in a wide variety of industries, including hospitality, health care, business coaching, insurance, banking, non-profit, corporate event production and entertainment industries.

Equipped with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Advertising/Business Marketing, and 20 year's experience, Debra was able to increase revenue by 50% or more at 5 companies and increase SEO by 50% for 20 franchisees. 

Prior to college, she worked at a full-service meeting and event production company in the bay area. As an Account Executive, Debra was able to increase business by 50% within her first year at the company through cold-calling and the development of effective marketing tools and strategies. For five consecutive years, Debra coordinated flawless corporate events for fortune 500 bay area corporations from 10 to 10,000 people.  Her creativity, friendliness and close attention to detail kept their repeat clients returning year after year.

Upon Debra's graduation with Honors from SJSU, she was offered the position of Program Director with a children's non-profit organization. Reporting to the County Board of Directors and over 100 different agencies, Debra exceeded the goals and objectives as set forth by the Board and the committees. She had dozens of press releases published on behalf of the agency, created new community partnerships, published two industry reports, and planned several successful media and community events gaining recognition for the project.

When the grant expired, Debra was offered a position as the Associate Development Director at The Parkinson's Institute in Sunnyvale, CA.  At the Institute, Debra was a respected marketing leader, and organized the 2006 Patient Care Symposium for 700 patients. She personally raised over $60,000 for the Symposium through sponsorshops, planned every detail of the agenda, designed the marketing collateral, and coordinated and executed the entire event flawlessly. When it comes to event planning, Debra is an experienced professional.

Debra moved to Reno with her husband in 2006 and continued to consult with the Institute until founding Dream Weaver Marketing in 2008. As the Marketing Director for ActionCOACH Business Coaching in California and Colorado, she is responsible for the marketing activities for 40 business owners. She handled website content, SEO, social marketing, advertising, event promotions and training.

She is passionate about helping others and now oversees the marketing activities for several individual  ActionCOACH franchisees in both California and Colorado. She is currently helping these small business owners by applying lead generation strategies.

In 2008, Debra soley designed a new GREEN product and learned how to not only patent it, but manufacture it and bring it to the marketplace. The EZGroceryBag is a reusable grocery shopping bag made of recycled plastic bottles (PET) and its patented design allows it to roll up for convenient carrying.

Debra received the Senatorial Certificate of Achievement for the NCET Green Company of the year for the design and development of the patent pending EZGroceryBag.
